We also bought our first home in Jacksonville for (believe this) $59,000. When we got orders and sold the house we had to right a check for $800 at closing (remember we were selling). All of the above is a little off subject except to say that experiences like that and in the years that followed prompted me to start MilitaryByOwner.com. We are fairly popular in the Jacksonville area and we also have at least one property management company that is advertising on the Camp Lejeune page. Good luck, and let us know if we can help.
